Well I have decided to start updating my blog! I have missed it! Its been super long and so much has changed since I was blogging.. I don't even know if half of my friends still have their blog! Ha... Well.. Were to start..

Eric and I bought our first home in cedar hills its a little town home and we love it!! Eric has been working on the unfinished basement and I'm very excited to have that done at some point. Its been so nice to have the space and be able to decorate and make things exactly as I want them! we have 2600 sq feet. Once the basement is finished!

The biggest project was the shades for the living room.. We have these huge windows and the only thing that we could do was custom make shades.. So that we did.. Thanks to my handy mom! She is amazing!! She was so much help.. Here are a few photos!

And also we got a sweet little puppy named Shadow! We have so much fun with him and love him to death! He is part of this little Francis Family!

..#4 The trick?

So after getting my MRI last week and getting the results from the doctor and then back to my orthopedics's office for another visit.. Its official I tore my acl and sprained my meniscus.. Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday the 25Th (yes this Wednesday) I was really hoping it was just going to be a sprain. But hey this is MY knee's we are talking about so i guess i shouldn't be too surprised! I cant tell you how much i HATED the past knee surgeries I had. I wouldn't wish That upon my worst enemy.. Unless you did something really bad... No jk. I was happy to hear I shouldn't have to be on crutches and I should be able to start placing pressure on it right away.. unlike before on crutches and in a straight leg brace for 6 weeks.. So keep your fingers crossed that #4 is the last of my knee issue's and or surgeries.

Sadly Its been so long since I have posted a blog and yet there isn't too much that is exciting to blog about. I have been working so much up until today really, I'm now the assistant manager at the laser center to I get to do a little of everything at work. I really enjoy working more with our Manager Tanya who started in January, She is great at what she does and is fun to work with as well. I get really good hours now so i don't find myself with as much time as i used to have to blog. I promise i will try to be better for all of my blog stalkers.. If i have any left that is.

Lets see.. Oh Eric and I bought a Wii for valentines haha Its fun coming home and playing a little Mario Kart! I honestly have not played on a game station of any kind since i was little i think.. (Eric also has his ps3 that he managed to convince me to let him buy when we first got married. Sneaky one haha) But i have not Once played the Ps3 to this day.. I guess I have always been a Nintendo kind of girl if anything.

As far as today goes, This morning everything was fine. I woke up this morning got ready and my cousin came over to get a chemical peel before her wedding in a a week or so. Then I ate breakfast and headed out the door for work at about 9:15. Let me mention we live on the third floor.. So as I'm walking down the stares not doing anything special as I'm going down, I get about five steps from the bottom when suddenly I hear this really loud SNAP and I feel like someone knocked the wind out of me I was in so much pain all of the sudden. So not being able to walk much at all I hurried and called my orthopedic surgeon that had done my three past knee surgeries. and they told me to come into their office Asap. So after getting there and doing Xrays nothing was broken but they Made me go do a MRI since he thinks I may have torn cartilage in my knee. I was told i would get a call today but I'm not too surprised that its 6:30 and i still have not received a call. I have been able to keep my leg up for a few hours and relax thanks to my Family mostly my Dad he took me to all my appointments bought me lunch and ice cream all without complaining once that I took up his entire day. I'm starting to be able to walk slightly better tonight.. maybe i just needed some TLC.. I'm hoping its just a sprain!

Christmas and more..

Christmas was great!

I'm still kinda shocked that i haven't blogged since before then. December was really busy i still don't know how i managed to get everything done over the holidays...but its done and over but im kinda sad i really love the holidays and how much time we spend with the family. Both Eric and I have such great families and we have been blessed to have them live so close!

I wish I had photo's but of course i forgot my camera that day.. I'll have to get some from the fam and add them later.

We honestly got so spoiled this year.. It makes me wish i could do so much more for my family and friends. But I got Eric Guitar Hero for his ps3. And Eric and my parents got me and Ipod touch. Not to mention my parents gave us each some Cd's books and then surprised us with cash we really weren't planning on getting. And cash from Eric's parents. I think my parents got carried away since they haven't felt like they could afford too much in the past few years. But my Favorite part is shopping for others for Christmas. It seems like it all went by so fast. December i was working so much though i felt so rushed. So I'm hoping ill be able to put more thought into birthday gifts this year!

New Years has also past us and we went out to macaroni grill for dinner that night and then........ I fell asleep. ha ha we played games and what not before but i was out right before midnight. You would think living in a apartment complex we would have woke up to people celebrating at midnight.. but nope! Sure didn't!

I have never really been that great on having new years resolutions and Eric doesn't believe you should wait till the new years to start something you want to achieve.. and he has a point. but i did decide personally I'm going to try and stay in better shape ( Creative i know) although i do go to the gym. I just want to maintain that and stay motivated. I also got a new journal and am writing in it more regularly.. ( A lot of people have that goal it seems this year ) and then I'm going to try harder to cook..ha ha something i should have been doing.. I'm not making promises that it will be good :P jk but I'm taking it slow. I have already got a crock pot and have made a few dishes and then today I made Banana Pudding Squares! they are in the fridge and i hope they turn out good! So that's what I'm just going to try and get better at over the next year!

Thanksgiving this year was really fun! We don't get all of us together very often because my oldest sister lives in Logan with her family. But this year it was all of us! we had i think 14 people in my parents condo hee hee so it was slightly packed. But great none the less! And i love my families cooking on holidays! here are some photo's!

Welcome to California

So over the weekend we took a trip down to Arizona to go to a family wedding on Eric's side of the family. sadly we had to leave home Friday night around six and then leave Arizona on Sunday. So we had a very very quick trip. Friday night we got to Vegas and spent the night there and then Saturday we get to Arizona around 2:30 in the afternoon. and the wedding was at four. then there was the reception and it was pretty entertaining.. very different from the average wedding reception i attend ill say. I've been so sheltered living here in Utah county pretty much my whole life. I just had to be more open minded on how the rest of the world lives. But it was good to see Eric's side of the family. his aunts, uncles, and cousins are very nice and welcoming.

After the reception we drove back to our hotel and saw an in and out burger so we had to stop hee hee. then we woke up at 7am and hit the road... when we got to Kingman Arizona we decided to switch and have Eric drive! So we gas up and turn where is says "Las vegas" so we are driving for about an hour.. in the middle of Nowhere! when we are thinking..." this really doesn't look like the way we came" then suddenly there it is a " Welcome to California sign!" lol we both where just shocked! I still dont know how we ended up there but we finally got back to Vegas but it took us a little over an hour to get back there. so our trip Sunday ended up being a 12 hour drive home.. but Hey we saw three states!

... I think next time we will be flying!

Fat Face! :(

So after visiting with many different dental surgeons we finally decided on one. Reason being? well i have had these two anklosed teeth ( they never grew in all the way) and they are in the very back impacted clear down in my gums. so since they were starting to hurt and possibly causing infection.. it was time we parted ways! bye byes.

Thursday was the day of surgery and i started getting nervous mainly for the reason my bottom tooth was right along a nerve that if it got in the way of getting the tooth out my bottom lip could be numb for months to a year! So as I'm laying there the girl is trying to get my IV started but i had not drank fluids for over 14 hours so my veins where saying " Um no no little needle!". I started thinking of all the surgeries i have had and this was #11! Then i started thinking of waking up after being knocked out.. and i HATE that part i always have weird reactions coming out of the anesthesia. so then i got REALLY nervous! So when the doctor came in my voice was all cracking and he was prob thinking " uh only two teeth woman!" but whatever i could be numb lip girl!

So he tells me I'm giving you some med and it may make you itch but that's normal.. all i remember is saying " no i just feel light headed" and then he said" that's what we want" ha ha the next thing i know i wake up in a wheelchair with tears coming down my face.. i don't know why I'm crying.. And who placed me in the wheelchair? And I'm freezing and Eric kisses my good cheek lol and puts on my hoodie. I slept the whole way home Eric picked up my meds and got me some gummy bears so i wouldn't feel totally deprived of goodness!

Now I'm just healing and pretty swollen with fat faceness.. (its hot!) Hopefully i wont have too much more down time. I'm crossing my fingers that i i don't have to go under to stitch my upper gums i literally have a hole leading to my sinus its very awkward! i have cut down my pain meds because Thursday and Friday felt kinda like a blur! just felt not myself. But all in all i feel really happy that I'm just fat face Mary and not numb lip Mary!

So with everything going on with the economy Eric and I have been looking at getting our own place more seriously. we have looked at a few places but I didn't really feel like spending 175,000 on a two bedroom town house.. Maybe if it had at least one more room! right? But a few weeks ago i found some really cute town homes in AF not far from were we are at right now. 3 bed 2 1/2 bath and an unfinished basement and bathroom.. So cute for 169,000! So that sounded allot better.. but since the economy sucks my hours have been cut until December and then i will be slammed with our in Dec.. lol i cant seem to get the just right amount of hours.. Anywho.. that being said we have decided to hold off and resign our contract here for 7 more months and the town homes are only half way finished so they should still be building or getting close to done when we are looking.

All this got me thinking.. I have never posted pictures of our cute apartment! I really do love our place! ( Other then taking groceries up 3 flights of stairs.) But we do have a ton of space and and we get what we pay for!! I think i would be in a bigger rush to move if i didn't like our place so much :D so here are some photo's... If only i could paint right!?

*:..Yesterday..:* We had a Bachelorette Party by slumber parties for Kendall at Mel's place and had allot of fun. All this for a new laptop!

So when I graduated high school my lovely parentals bought me a dell laptop. So when Eric and i got married i made him sell his cuz mine had a bigger screen! So now that my poor little dell got a virus that kicked macafee's butt Eric has been giving me allot of crap. Guess i shouldn't have kept mine based on screen size hee hee Whoops!

Since Eric has gone back to school we couldn't really go without a computer! So after a full day of shopping including someone being sneaky and getting the last one we wanted at best buy while we debated on it. We Finally found it at Office Depot! But we got it home and it was defective.. and i couldn't get anything using the Internet to work.. Hello Mary cant be without her msn messenger or anything Duh. so I called all the Hp customer service right? and talked to them for 2 and a half hours till they told me to return it.. you ask why 2 and a half hours? It was Incredibly hard to understand the guy because he was from INDIA... kid you not I ASKED! So after making Eric go dumpster diving for the stupid little box it came in that was literally cut up from all the rebates, We finally got a laptop that works great! Yay!

Its been forever since i did one of these!

Thank goodness for those who brighten up your day. I worked lots last week and was exhausted and to be honest kinda grumpy since i was so tired. But it was worth it I came home to my favorite food ready for me and this when i walked in the door :D

So this past week I have been training for my new job. (I still work at the spa as well yay) But i started training for American Laser Centers doing hair removal, skin tightening and cellulite treatments. And I'm really excited! Training was really Long and tiring but was really good. Then i shadowed all day Friday.. just watching made me really just wanna be able to start that day but besides training you have to have so many hours shadowing. So i take clients on Tuesday super excited. hee hee.. Oh plus i love the free treatments as well! That's a plus. I believe Family and Friends get 30% discount Hurrah! So come see me. :D

Almost a Month!

I know I'm Horrible at this blogging thing hee hee and i really like to blog it seems there has been soo much going on with the family... Three weeks ago my sister Erin went into labor. Once she got to the hospital though they realized they couldn't find a Heartbeat. Turns out Madeleine had an extra long umbilical cord and little Madeleine must have stepped on the umbilical cord the same morning erin went into labor or the night before. Soon i will have pictures of her.. b/c she was seriously so cute though being a still born baby and looked really good. Erin in doing amazing I don't know how i would go through that but she is going great :)

We also ended up going to my parents place to do fireworks with my little nephew Randyman he is so freaking cute.. so i have some fun photo's for you all.

This week didn't start how i wanted to. I woke up Monday morning to a voice mail left at 1:30 am on my cell phone (that i had left in my purse in the kitchen) It was from my dad telling me that my sister Tine was in the hospital because her Xhusband beat her horribly. Tine was house sitting for a friend with Chris (her x) and my nephew Randy. they were down in Spanish fork where this all happened. My sister was trying to give Chris the chance to be a father but that wasn't enough for Him and Tine told him she wouldnt move away with him. that's when he snapped. Chris stole my sisters Car, phone, and over $350. He broke her hand, She has two black eyes, swollen on both sides of her jaw, and bruises all down her back. My sister tine is the most kind hearted person i know and is a great sister and Amazing mother. I look up to her so much.

Not to mention she is gorgeous( she is on the right in the pic). Please keep her in your prayers and pray that Christopher Graham is caught and is sent away for a long time.

Whats in my Bag!

Well my purse is more like a black hole i find things from many moons ago in this thing!

My cell and may i add that i have had this thing for like a month and it has a scratch on the screen already.. yea give it 4 more and the screen will probably be busted.. just to be honest!
Then there is my Mp3 player and for not being an Ipod.. its been pretty good although every thing i downloaded of Napster doesn't work i have to re- load lots. It hooks in to my car so its lovely!
Thank you cards that go to my returning clients i need to mail off! Remind me to do that later!
Two pens and a highlighter.. um you never know when you need to write at note on a car saying " that's ugly".... and maybe highlight it? right Holli?... jk i don't really know whats with the highlighter to be honest..
My day planner..well i use this thing to keep track of doctors appointments But.. it doesn't help if i forget to look in it.. so really.. its just cute! Don't you agree? :D
Then i have like 5 lip glosses of some sort... Ones a Plumper... Oh i do love!!
Powders.. two things of makeup powders
Mascara.. Dior show.. REALLY pricey but i love it! It never drys out so you can keep applying it with out it looking like crap...Aww if only you could do eyelash extensions on yourself right?
Prescription Lyrica for my fibro.. I would prob be miserable without it! Its done wonders for my fibro.
Prescription strength aleve.. For my Fibro and Head.
Ooo don't forget the tic-tacs!
Makeup brush.. for the powders
And last a notepad... I like to doodle.. its a serious habit

So basicly half this stuff i dont NEED in my purse but come on its so big it has to look full right?! Thats what Big Bags are for! Hello...

Spa stuff

Hello my long lost friends! I've been so busy with stuff lately i have not had time to update! But lets see a few weeks back we filmed a commercial for Visage the spa I'm at.. it was fun with all the girls there and what not.. funny story the commercial has a voice over so pretty much the whole time filming we just talked and there was a clip where they had us doing "pedicures" so we used clear polish.. ha ha the guy filmed Forever i swear so poor Goldie had about 20 coats of clear top coat polish on her toes by the end of it. But ill have the clip of that up and posted pretty soon!

Two nights ago i also did eyelash extensions on a client here at my place.. I honestly love doing them most estheticians think they are annoying and too time consuming but i love them they look so good after.. but here is a fun picture i took b/c I'm going to create a portfolio of my stuff soon. you can see just how big the difference is in length in Carols lashes! Right eye is finished and left eye only had one extension on. We did hers really full and they looked so good. Ill be doing more soon! so more pictures to come!!

Problem People..

K so I have not written in for awhile because work has been busy my boss set up a stand in the mall and I've been helping her out with that and training the other girls on things there.. but to make matters worse there is a awful guy in the mall who owns this "Natural source makeup" stand. Anyways he came over to us Saturday and asked me how long we have been open there and then decided it would be Freaking Awesome if he walked 100 feet away and then Yelled threatening us that we wont last. All b/c we sell the makeup that makes his look like crap (and it is crap).. anyways he called the corporate office of the makeup we sell and told them all these Lie's about what we were doing and they sent down a Rep to talk to us and take photo's of the stand. That made my work 10 times harder. Honestly how immature are people? If his stuff is so good he wouldn't be scared of ours.. idiot. So we found out he tired to sell it there at one point but he didn't have a spa or actual business to support the line ha ha so they turned him down. Hee hee it made me laugh! How much time do you have on your hands to call and make crazy complaints... All b/c you couldn't get away with what we did? Sorry better luck next time! ... that's my story for the day! The End

Stomach Flu From Hell!

So last weekend I got the worst stomach flu of LIFE. I honestly wanted to crawl In a Hole, I don't know the last time i felt so crummy. and it had this lingering thing where i could only eat small portions Throughout the first part of the week or i wanted to through up again! But Eric took care of me pretty well :) (Not to mention i had a cold the week before!) On a brighter note and to go along with my last blog.. I'm a cook.. haha i made artichoke spinach Dip and it was pretty good considering I made it lol I think I'm going to try just the spinach dip next time.. OH so i have a recipe for Tiramisu Yummy But i need a drip coffee maker.. wtf.. I don't have one of those!..But why not really sure?.. Someone can by me one :D Hurrah! So my sister Erin is going to be having her baby shower the day before my birthday and im so excited.. not that little Madalyn needs any clothes the child is already stocked up! I'm going to be an aunt for the 5Th time its crazy. Everyone will have had a child in my family but Eric and I. (And don't plan on it anytime soon!) Me = So not ready for a child yet and ill be the first to say it.. I'll just play with them and give them back to their parents for now. hee hee Im such a great aunt!

.. Alright so not really.. I make very few things.. I mean VERY, So i made Eric buy us a new cook book at the store. and I'm liking it.. or at least the idea of cooking more lol. I'm pretty much good at making cookies at the moment :P Hurrah! We made a huge batch of them today and i must say they are GREAT! I'm so talented. hee hee Oh so i finished the book eric had me read. and now I'm back to New Moon Very happy about this because i cant tell you how long it took me to read twilight just because i was in school and had so much reading to do as it was. So i cant let it take me forever and a day after Thursday to read this one.. I want to be able to read breaking dawn when its out. Oh and so they are making the movie twilight to come out sometime next year... yea not so sure about that one.. its kinda like when The Da Vinci Code came out in theaters... and then no one read the book cuz of the movie ( it blows compared to the book btw) and I firmly think you need to read these books.. ( although Mel THINKS she is REBEL-izing when she Wont read them, Wont get a blogspot and WONT get married.. haha :P Whatever Mel..we are arguing :P)

So i just set up this blog and im going to be honest.. I have no clue what im doing! same goes to facebook..i just click buttons! But lots of people say I needed one of these. So Eric and I have been married for a little over nine months now, Its gone by so fast! Almost a year its crazy. Eric is working for fidelity as a finacial adviser/Broker and Im working at a new Day Spa in Pleasant Grove. Its nice to be doing what i went to school for :) Now i just need a vacation.. well not need.. Want.. but i blame the utah weather Honestly.. 60 today?..Its killin me. Thats okay need to workout before swimsuit time anyway. :P Happy April!

P.s. Someone should really tell me how to use this thing :P
